A group of concerned citizens met Sept. 9, 2009 to begin organizing Negrenses to support Noynoy Aquino for President. "We want change and the reform of Philippine politics which is currently ridden with corruption, abuse of power, and misgovernance, that's why we've started this movement for Noynoy," the group declared.

N4N, Negrenses 4 Noynoy, now called N4NM, Negrenses for Noy-Mar, calls on all concerned citizens, including youth who are too young to vote, to unite for a new leadership and to affirm our trust in the Noynoy Aquino - Mar Roxas tandem. Everyone who has had enough of the present state of Philippine politics and governance is welcome to join N4NM.

N4NM was formally launched on September 21, 2009, 37th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law. At the workshop conducted during the launching activity, the volunteers present agreed to support the Noynoy-Mar tandem.
